Four members of a family found dead at a house in West Sussex have been named by police.

The bodies of Kelly Fitzgibbons, 40, and Robert Needham, 42, were found alongside their children Ava Needham, four, and two-year-old Lexi Needham.

A murder investigation began after police were called to Duffield Lane in Woodmancote near Chichester on Sunday.

Detectives are "not seeking anyone else in connection with the matter" and described it as an "isolated incident".

A post-mortem examination has not yet taken place and police have not commented on the nature of their deaths.

The body of a pet dog was also found at the house, police said.

Local resident and district councillor Roy Briscoe said he lived in the same lane.

"They were a young couple, with two young children. We can't believe what happened," he told BBC Radio Sussex.

"It really is saddening. The whole lane is in shock really."

Ch Supt Westerman said it was a "a very, very difficult situation to have to deal with, particularly when children are involved".

Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered 2 is officially real, as the title has now been discovered on the German PlayStation Store and will be released tomorrow on 31 March.

An accompanying trailer also confirms that it will come with a Classic Ghost Bundle, which seems to consist of items, cosmetics etc. that can be used in both Modern Warfare and Warzone.

More importantly, the trailer confirms that the remaster is single-player only, with apparently no multiplayer component at all.

At this point, the Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 remaster may as well be public knowledge. The thing has been rumoured and purportedly leaked for years now, with the latest leak suggesting it will release next month.

Now, the newest claim is that it will come out as early as today. This comes from Twitter user Okami13, who has reliably leaked Call Of Duty related info in the past, such as details for Call Of Duty: Warzone.

The sale of alcohol has been banned in the Greenland capital, Nuuk, in an attempt to reduce violence against children during the period of confinement caused by the coronavirus outbreak.

“In such a situation, we have to take numerous measures to avoid infection,” the prime minister, Kim Kielsen, said on Saturday.

“But at the heart of my decision is the protection of children; they have to have a safe home.”

Nearly one in three people living in the autonomous Danish Arctic territory suffered sexual abuse during childhood. Experts link the abuse to alcohol, drugs and ignorance of children’s rights.

After Greenland closed down schools on Monday with 10 cases of coronavirus diagnosed, a rise in violence followed.

“Unfortunately, in Nuuk, domestic violence has been on the rise in recent weeks,” the health minister, Martha Abelsen, told local media. Excessive drinking by parents exposed children to dangers in the home, Greenlanders were warned.

A Mancunian is self-isolating on a seven-acre campsite with only ducks and chickens for company.

Neil Taylor, a former Timperley councillor, is currently marooned on the site in Northumberland due to the coronavirus lockdown.

The 57-year-old was due to start work as a campsite warden in Melkridge - near the Scottish border - in early April.

His plan was to work there for six months.

He went up to the campsite on Monday to do some groundwork, just before Boris Johnson announced the nationwide lockdown.

And he's not going anywhere anytime soon.

The campsite is closed to the public so it means he is alone with his own thoughts until it reopens.

Neil said he's quite content with his new set-up - but he's missing his wife, Sandra Taylor, who has stayed at home in Altrincham.

The pair celebrated their 13th wedding anniversary on Tuesday with a catch-up via video chat.

The Prince of Wales has coronavirus, it emerged on Wednesday, as hundreds of guests at a Commonwealth service attended by Charles and the Queen were told a flag-bearer at the event had tested positive for coronavirus.

Charles was said to be “up and about” and in good spirits at Birkhall, his 53,000-acre Highland estate in Scotland. He was tested on Monday after experiencing mild symptoms.

Meanwhile pictures emerged of the Queen conducting her weekly audience with Boris Johnson by telephone from Windsor Castle. The monarch has held the weekly meeting with whoever is prime minister throughout her reign.

Clarence House said in a statement: “It is not possible to ascertain from whom the prince caught the virus owing to the high number of engagements he carried out in his public role during recent weeks.”

Charles joined the Queen, the Duchess of Cornwall, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex at a Commonwealth Day service at Westminster Abbey on 9 March. About 2,000 people, including politicians, ambassadors and schoolchildren, also attended the service.

Vin Diesel Had A Multi-Billion Dollar Hot Streak Going—Until ‘Bloodshot’

As you’ve likely seen, the box office has taken a huge beating from coronavirus. Onward, in its second weekend, led with a mere $10.6 million. Two of last weekend’s new releases—I Still Believe and The Hunt—failed to crack $10 million. This all led to the box office having its lowest turnout in 20 years. And because of mass theater closings and movie delays, the box office is likely to see its worst year in quite a long time.

But the biggest casualty this past week? Bloodshot.

And to be more specific: Vin Diesel.

This past weekend, Bloodshot only managed to rake in $9.2 million domestically and $24.3 million worldwide. And over the course of the rest of the week, the movie couldn’t even muster another $1 million. That was good enough for second place at the box office, but those figures also come in way under the film’s $45 million budget.

In a shock move first spotted by ChromeUnboxed, Google has warned users that the the impact of COVID-19 means it has had to scrap the next major release of Chrome entirely.

“As we adapt our future milestone schedules to the current change in schedule, we have decided to skip the M82 release to ensure we keep users safe and focus all efforts on maintaining stability,” explained Jason Kersey, Google’s director of technical program management.

M82 is the codename for Chrome 82 and it would have been the backbone for the next big upgrade of Chrome on Windows, Mac, Android and Chrome OS. Kersey states that every element of the release will be abandoned with plans to skip to Chrome 83 (M83) at some point in the future:
  • We will abandon current M82 branches, remove infra support, and stop testing/merges to the branches
  • We will not push any new M82 releases to Dev, and we will stop stabilization for Beta.
  • We will move Dev channel to M83 asap
  • We will keep Beta channel on M81 until M83 is ready to be promoted

Whittingham, one of the Bluebirds' all-time greats, died from a head injury he suffered after a fall.

Born in Nuneaton, Whittingham started his career at Aston Villa, where he played over 50 league games and represented England Under-21s.

The elegant playmaker joined Cardiff in 2007 and established himself as a club legend with 459 appearances and 98 goals before leaving in 2017.

After his short spell at Blackburn Rovers ended in September 2018, Whittingham returned to live in south Wales - as it was with Cardiff where he felt most at home, on and off the field.

Starting his career on the left wing before moving to the right and then into central midfield, Whittingham compensated for his lack of pace with a magical left foot.

St. Patrick's Day Parades are Canceled, but Here are Alternative Ways to Celebrate

However, as the world continues to grapple with the coronavirus pandemic, St. Patrick's Day parades across the globe have been canceled as large gatherings have been banned in many countries.

The Centers for Disease Control has recommended that in-person events that consist of 50 or more people be canceled in the US for eight weeks to help combat the spread of the coronavirus.

Although the parades have been canceled and your local pub may have shut down, you can still celebrate St. Patrick's Day from the comfort of your own home. Here's how.

Irish soda bread is practically a way of life in Ireland.

The unleavened bread is quick and easy to make, and it only requires a few, simple ingredients. All you need for most traditional soda bread recipes is buttermilk, baking soda, sugar, salt, all-purpose flour, eggs and some unsalted butter.

A hotel owned by Cristiano Ronaldo has debunked a false rumor that it would turn itself into a makeshift hospital to help tackle the coronavirus pandemic.

Spanish newspaper Marca reported that Ronaldo was preparing to turn The Pestana CR7 Hotel, Lisbon, into a facility to treat people who have contracted the virus.

Portugal currently has 245 confirmed cases of COVID-19, with no reported deaths.
It was also reported the Juventus forward would pay the wages of the doctors and staff.

A spokesperson for the hotel however has since denied the claims, telling RTL Nieuws: "We are a hotel. We are not going to be a hospital. It is a day like everyone else, we are and will remain a hotel. We are being phoned by the press. I wish you a nice day."

Brexiteer Mocked For Claiming Empty Shelves a Sign of 'Life Under Jeremy Corbyn'

Brexiteer Grimes, who got caught up in Vote Leave's breaches of electoral law during the EU referendum, took to Twitter to off his own spin on the government's handling of the coronavirus pandemic.

But rather than acknowledge the supermarket panic was a sign Boris Johnson had failed to get a grasp of the situation, he used it as an opportunity to knock Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn.

'Well, folks. At least the coronavirus panic has given us a look into life under Jeremy Corbyn's preferred Venezuelan 'alternative'', tweeted Grimes, with an accompanying picture of empty shelves in a Sainsbury's supermarket.

Grimes appeared to see no irony in his tweet, but Twitter users were quick to point out the problems with his post.

'Erm, I'm not sure I'd place too much importance on empty shelves as a metric for success if I were you', replied former Labour MEP Seb Dance.

'And what do the shelves look like right now under Johnson, Darren?' queried James Felton.

Coronavirus: Schools Need Clear Advice on Closures, Heads Say

School leaders are calling for clear guidance ahead of any widespread school closures, as the number of coronavirus cases in the UK continues to rise.

The Association of School and College Leaders (ASCL) says its members are facing questions from anxious families.

The Department for Education in England is advising all schools to stay open and says its coronavirus helpline for education staff is offering advice.

Exam regulators are urging schools to prepare for public exams as normal.

Ahead of ASCL's annual general conference in Birmingham, on Friday, general secretary Geoff Barton said school and college leadership teams were having to make contingency plans for possible closures, without knowing if, when or for how long their school might close.

Mr Barton said with the Easter holidays looming, many school leaders would like more reassurance about contingency plans for closures.

Bank of England Slashes Interest Rates to Combat Corona-Virus 'Shock' – What it Means For You

rahul sharma manchester

Sharing by Rahul Sharma from Manchester UK,

The Bank of England has cut the base rate from 0.75% to 0.25% in an emergency response to the "economic shock" of the coronavirus outbreak.
The base rate is the Bank of England's official borrowing rate – ie, what it charges other banks and lenders when they borrow money – and it influences what borrowers pay and savers earn.
The surprise rate-cut decision was taken at a special meeting of the Bank's Monetary Policy Committee on Tuesday. The Bank said the cut was a response to the "economic shock" of coronavirus and would "help to support business and consumer confidence at a difficult time, to bolster the cash flows of businesses and households, and to reduce the cost, and to improve the availability, of finance".
The base rate was last cut in 2016, when it fell from 0.5% to 0.25%. It's risen twice since to reach 0.75%. But interest rates have generally been at historic lows since the 2008 financial crash.
Here are the need-to-knows for your finances:
·       Some mortgages will get cheaper. Homes with tracker mortgages – whose rates 'track' the base rate – should see their rates drop. However, fixes won't change and with others it's not clear-cut. See our mortgages analysis.
·       It's more bad news for savers. Savings rates have been woeful for years and are now likely to fall further, although if you've a fixed-rate account you're protected for the time being. See our savings analysis.
We'll be updating this story throughout today with more analysis and what banks and lenders are doing in response to the rate cut. And for full and constantly updated info on travel insurance, holiday bookings and more during the coronavirus outbreak, see our Covid-19 Coronavirus Help guide.
